Common questions
How often should a hedge be trimmed?
Most hedges around here look their best with two to three trims a year – usually late spring, mid summer and early autumn. Fast growers like photinia may want an extra visit.
My hedge is overgrown – can it be saved?
Usually, yes. Most hedges can be brought back over a couple of staged trims rather than one brutal cut. We’ll have a look and tell you what it needs.
